Job Title: EG Shift Supervisor
General Description: This role supervises Electronic Games employees on designated shift, ensures compliance with all gaming regulations and internal policies and procedures, as well as, implements staffing/development plans and related procedures designated to enhance departmental operations and growth.
Supervision Received: EG Shift Manager
Supervision Exercised: EG Floor Attendant(s)
Essential Job Functions:
§ Resolve guest complaints using reflective listening, courtesy, and providing financial resolution as needed in order to create a winning experience for the customer and facility. Compare machine and ticket discrepancies by using the ACSC system as needed
§ Adhere to all MICS, TICS, and all standard operating procedures within the facility including Title 31 regulatory requirements. Must attend all trainings related to this position.
§ Enforce MICS, TICS, facility/departmental gaming/compliance regulations, and standard operation procedures for the facility by providing ongoing training; coach and provide feedback
§ Prepare shift reports to record information such as changes to gaming machines, patron disputes and resolution, and information communicated in pre-shift meetings
§ Develop the team by training, evaluating performances, and promoting career development with the goal of cultivating qualified efficient staff to achieve a clean facility, display exemplary guest service, and salesmanship
§ Resolve internal complaints by conducting investigations to promote a harmonious shift
§ May schedule staff based on worker availability and arrange for contingency staff based on business needs and/or guest satisfaction standards on designated shift. Redirect the labor force according to changing activity during a shift
§ Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
§ High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
§ Must be able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of departmental rules, regulations, and policies.
§ Ability to communicate well with the customers/players, co-workers, and supervisors
§ Must have interpersonal skills to motivate employees and communicate effectively with all business contacts.
§ Must possess ability to develop and communicate information in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook format.
§ Must be able to perform minor repairs to gaming machines.
Training and Experience:
§ Minimum of one (1) year of electronic gaming experience.
§ One (1) year of management experience preferred.
§ Current or past participation in the Chickasaw Nation Department of Commerce Fast Track Leadership Training Program may be substituted for any of the above listed experience at the discretion of the Chief Operation Officer and approved by the Chief Executive Officer and/or Governor.
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
- Be able to pass a background check and receive a gaming license from the Chickasaw Nation Office of the Gaming Commission as required to work in gaming operations.
- Complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result.
Physical Requirements:
§ Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
§ Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds, use two way radio communication devices, and have the dexterity to handle and service slot machine parts.
Work Environment:
Must be able to work in a casino environment where second hand smoke and flashing lights are present
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,955.87 - $57,413.21 per year
