What we are looking for:

We are looking for experienced forklift drivers. Our drivers are critical to the success of our production lines and shipping & receiving department. It is a fast paced high volume position. The drivers must have a safety-first mindset. They must look out for our employees and our assets. The drivers are responsible for servicing the production lines and do so timely with a sense of responsibility and organization.

The work typically involves:

• Inspects packing materials
• Transports material to-and-from production lines
• Stores re-work glass
• Assembles steel racks and builds wooden boxes dependent upon glass and patterns to be shipped
• Ensures proper packaging and labeling of pallets
• Places finished pallet on proper inventory storage base
• Requires operation of Powered Industrial Truck in accordance with the Company’s Powered Industrial Truck Operator program to include strict adherence to safe operating practices
• Requires ability to interpret customer specifications for packing glass and box / pallet configurations

Requirements:

• Must have High School Diploma / GED or at least one year of work experience
• Must have 1-3 years experience operating a Powered Industrial Truck
• Knowledge of glass handling techniques is a plus
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
