EMR IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST

We are seeking an experienced EMR Implementation Specialist to join our healthcare organization. The EMR implementation Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system across all departments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with EMR systems, project management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee the EMR implementation project from planning to execution, ensuring successful completion within timelines and budgets.

· Collaborate with departmental leaders and end-users to identify system requirements and workflows and provide guidance on best practices for optimizing system performance.

· Develop and implement training plans for end-users to ensure proficiency with the new system.

· Coordinate testing and quality assurance efforts to identify and resolve issues and ensure data integrity.

· Monitor system performance and provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.

· Develop and maintain documentation related to system configuration, workflows, and policies and procedures.

· Provide regular progress reports to executive leadership highlighting achievements, risks, and issues.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, computer science, or related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare IT, with a focus on EMR implementation and support.

· Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical personnel.

· Experience with a variety of EMR systems, including implementation, configuration, and support.

· Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations and requirements, including HIPAA.

· Must be able to travel as needed throughout the United States for implementation of all EMR changes within the Valley Oaks Medical Clinics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
