Job description

Professional Engineer Responsibilities and Duties:

· Read, interpret, and apply EPA and state regulations

· Ensure client compliance with EPA and state regulations

· Perform environmental compliance site visits, inspections, inventories, and audits of large industrial and manufacturing facilities

· Develop, certify, and update environmental compliance plans

· Communicate with the client to schedule site visits and complete compliance plans

· Market environmental compliance services to current and future clients

· Estimated overnight and day travel 30-60% of the time to client sites

Qualifications and Skills:

· Strong writing, administrative, and organizational skills

· Professional communication skills and customer service

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

· Ability to sit at a desk and work from a computer

· Ability to adhere to the admission requirements and safety procedures of large industrial and manufacturing client sites and Environmental 360 company policies

· Ability to work in hot and humid environments

· Drive to and from industrial sites throughout the Southeast and potentially across the country

· Walk long distances to complete inspections

· Climb ladders and steps

· Estimated 30-60% travel

Certifications, Education, and Experience:

· Professional Engineer (P.E.) Designation Required

· 5+ years of environmental compliance experience

· Experience writing SPCC and SWPPP Plans

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
