Essential Functions*:

• Perform inspection of roofing systems at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant.
• Perform visual and physical lightning protection Preventative Maintenance (PM's).
• Perform minor repairs on lightning protection systems.
• Identify roofing system deficiencies on flat and tapered roof systems.
• Monitors roof system drains and clears them of debris as required.
• Performs leak containment and minor repairs to Thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO), Ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EPDM), and built-up roofing systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Position Requirements*:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and safely.
• Must be customer focused.
• Capable of climbing permanent ladders to access roofs.
• The ability to develop solutions to various problems, some complex.
• Ability and willingness to learn roofing and lightning protection maintenance and repair trade skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to accurately document and report findings.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
• This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
• This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies.
