Shift: Day, Evening, and Night shift positions

Summary:
Greets patients, families, and visitors. Provides directions and responds to inquiries. Ensures the safety of patients, visitors, and employees by monitoring scanning equipment at assigned entrances and notifying law enforcement officials of suspicious behavior or items needing further investigation. Exhibits a professional, courteous, and welcoming demeanor to all. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Required:
High school diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good decision-making skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to multi-task while paying attention to close detail.
Ability to interact with diverse client population and provide excellent customer service.
Ability to problem solve, manage conflict, address visitor concerns, and initiate recovery steps for service failures.
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred:
Customer service experience.
Prior screening experience.
Physical Demands:
May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.
May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.
Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
Ability to read job related documents.
Ability to use computer.
