Open Position:
As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for filling customer orders, operating equipment to create finished goods, packaging products, and upholding our safety standards. You will have the opportunity to:
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all aspects of product packaging for the assigned work cell.
- Inspect finished products to ensure that they meet the quality and packaging standards.
- Communicate any product quality concerns to the first available Supervisor or Manager within a timely manner.
- Communicate any packaging concerns to the first available Supervisor or Manager in a timely manner.
- Make spools, restock supplies, put finished rolls away, take out full skids, and assist with startups.
- Package finished goods into boxes.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work areas by sweeping, dusting and removing trash from the area on a daily/weekly basis.
- Expected to complete all assigned tasks in accordance with Standard Work Procedure.
- Expected to communicate any and all unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviors, near misses, incidents and or accidents to a Supervisor or Manager immediately.
- Provides support for the operation team by working safely to feed material into machines, inspect product for defects and pack finished goods in correct configuration.
- Minimize interruptions and ensure quality product.
- Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Responsible to comply with best practices and programs to ensure safe product packaging.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school degree or equivalent required.
Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Able to complete basic mathematical calculations and follow standard work instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated hands-on ability.
- Ability to perform highly repetitive or short cycle work
- Availability to work rotating 12 hour shifts
- Good Team Player with positive “can do” attitude
Ultimately, you will play an important part in our production process and you will help us maintain our status in the industry by ensuring that we are making quality products. Starting pay is $19.40 per hour and after completing the training requirements employees would move into other positions with pay up to $25.20 per hour with additional shift differential. Work Shifts:
- Enjoy half the month off with rotating shifts
- Presto Products works a 2 Week rotation with the first week 36 hours, (M, Th, F) the second week is 48 hours (T, W, S, S) with double time on Sunday. For a 2 week period you work 7 days and have off 7 days.
- Shift rotation 2 weeks 5 AM – 5 PM. then 2 weeks 5 PM – 5 AM.

Pay: $19.40 - $26.00 per hour
