This Equipment Controller is responsible for effectively managing the equipment and material inventory at our Brodheadsville Warehouse. Duties include, but not limited to, preparing shipments for delivery or pick up by Blue Ridge employees or contract partners, coordinating delivery and shipments with freight companies and maintaining accurate inventory records and controls for all items. This agent would ensure that these assets are properly secured and stored and perform timely inventory audits to reconcile inventory levels.

Responsibilities:

• Performing monthly cycle counts of warehouse materials and identifying any variances
• Ensuring all items are stored and organized properly
• Coordinating the successful delivery and receipt of equipment and material
• Properly managing the flow of all material and equipment in and out of the warehouse
• Delivering, picking up or relocating equipment / material from one location to another as needed
• Working safely and maintaining a clean and well organized warehouse location consistently
• Interacting professionally with internal team members and external vendors
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Valid PA Driver's License and good driving record in order to operate company vehicle
• Valid DOT Medical Card – Able to drive a truck with or without a trailer with a GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight), or combo GCW (Gross Combo Weight) of over 10,001 pounds but not to exceed 26,001)
• Excellent Organizational Skills
• Excellent Administrative Skills
• Solid Basic Math Skills
• Proficient Computer Skills and experience with Microsoft Office
• Strong Communication Skills - Oral and Written
• Ability to actively listen to others, ask clarifying questions and be receptive to other viewpoints
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to work safely using standard warehouse equipment/tools such as manual and electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, box cutters, and tape dispensers
• Ability to drive and operate a forklift
• Ability to safely use and carry a 12 foot step ladder
• Able to lift and/or move up to 80lbs
• Ability to provide regular, consistent and punctual attendance
• Availability to work weekends as needed
