About the Equipment Operator position

We are looking for a skilled Construction Worker to join our company and take care of earthwork and civil works to include levees, site development and other similar construction projects.

You should have significant experience in working on relevant projects and using equipment as well as possess physical strength, endurance and agility. We also expect you to be good in collaboration and following instructions and safety rules.

Equipment Operator responsibilities are:

• Unload and carry materials at construction sites

• Grease, Fuel and keep equipment clean

• Operate Machinery (Dozer, Trackhoe, Skid Steer, Grader, Roller, Loader and other similar earthmoving equipment)

• Place and remove earthen materials safely and efficiently according to plans, specifications, and supervisor direction

• Communicate with supervisors and other team members to complete jobs on time and within budget.

• Remove debris and discarded material from construction site

• Ensure traffic signals are placed where appropriate

  
  

Construction Worker requirements are:

• 1+ years' experience of working as an Equipment Operator or other similar position

• Significant experience in operating equipment such as Dozers, Trackhoes, Graders, Loaders, Skidsteers and other similar equipment

• Experience on earthwork/site development sites

• Underground utilities experience is a plus

• Excellent knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles and methods

• Good ability to understand and follow instructions

• Good teamwork skills

• Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
