The Templeton Global Equity Group is currently seeking an Equity Research Analyst. The ideal Analyst will have 4 to 7 years of related work experience in fundamental analysis, will be a creative thinker, and have a clear understanding of the role that price plays in successful investment decisions. We will consider candidates with a variety of backgrounds such as institutional portfolio management, hedge funds, private equity, fixed income, or consulting. This position will reside in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Templeton is part of Franklin Templeton Investments and a leading global investment organization with a rigorous valuation methodology and a singular culture, philosophy and process.
What are the ongoing responsibilities?

Identity and evaluate profitable investment opportunities amongst listed in the US and broader Americas

Conduct thorough fundamental analysis of a company’s business and financial position, including cash flow analysis, balance sheet and income statement evaluations, and draw insightful conclusions

Communicate investment opportunities verbally and through written research reports

Contribution to relevant equity portfolios as a team member
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

4 to 7 years of fundamental equity research experience
-
Strong numeric, analytical and investment skills
-
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Investment performance track record an asset

Bachelor's degree and CFA required. MBA preferred

Buy-Side Equity Research experience with similar coverage
