Job Description

As an Event Bar Captain with Peter Callahan you will play a crucial role in ensuring flawless event execution, overseeing event logistics, and managing the seamless flow of operations. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering extraordinary customer experiences We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented individual to lead our bar operations and elevate the guest experience at exclusive events.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the bar service, ensuring efficiency and exceptional quality.
• Pre batch specialty cocktails prior to the event and direct other bartenders on how to do so
• Lead a team of skilled bartenders providing guidance and support.
• Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge of our beverage offerings, including signature cocktails, fine wines, and premium spirits.
• Set up and organize bars, ensuring they are presentable to guests, fully stocked and, properly equipped.
• Interact with clients and guests, delivering exceptional service and addressing any inquiries or special requests.
• Monitor inventory levels throughout, and at the end of the event
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Continuously train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-end bar or luxury hospitality environment.
• Proven leadership abilities, with the capability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Extensive knowledge of beverage service, including mixology, wine pairing, and bar operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse clientele.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
