Hello! Florida is hosting a HIRING EVENT on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at its corporate office in Orlando, FL, between the hours of 9am-1pm. We are located at: 3840 Vineland Road, Ste. 200, Orlando, FL 32811.

This is a great way to s_upplement your income by working early mornings, nights and/or weekends. Or work with us on a regular basis to earn overtime during the busy convention season!_

We are currently hiring Event Transportation Staff, Lead Staff and Luggage Handlers to work directly with our clients and guests. We are looking for hard working, friendly, positive and professional individuals to assist with a wide variety of roles. The Event Staff & Luggage Handler hourly pay rate is $16.00 and the Lead Staff pay rate is based on experience and up to $21.00 per hour.

These positions are part time on-call and the hours available can vary greatly week to week. Only applicants with flexible and OPEN schedules are encouraged to apply.

Your daily job duties will occur in various locations around the city and usually revolve around assisting our guests to & from arranged transportation.

Assignment Descriptions (but not limited to):

Event Staff/Shuttle Bus Transfers – Friendly, informative staff will be positioned at hotels, convention centers or other locations to assist guests with boarding transportation to ensure they arrive at their destination safely.

Airport Arrival & Departure Transfers – Staff are responsible for greeting our guests at the airport with a friendly face, ensure they have their baggage and then direct them to their pre-arranged transportation. On occasion, you may be required to assist and/or lift luggage upt to 50lbs. Hotel Departure transfers take place when the guest depart for the airport, and the staff assist with directional, loading, counting and assist with luggage.

Luggage Handlers - Luggage handlers who can lift up to 60lbs are responsible to quickly & courteously load guests luggage into buses as guests arrive at the airport or depart their hotel. Your job duties will occur in various locations around the city and usually revolve around assisting our guests to & from arranged transportation.

Field Leads & Airport Leads - Field Leads are assigned to meet the scheduled staff in the Field to assign them to a specific role for that day. As a Field Lead you will oversee with the staff the transfering of guests to their events and work closely with our Operations team client.
As an Airport Opertations Lead, you will oversee with the staff the greeting of guests as they move down the escalator to the baggage claim area. You are also responsible for monitoring a flight manifest or shuttle schedule to ensure that all guests are being met properly and directed to their correct transportation. SKILLS REQUIRED: Good communication skills, positive and professional demeanor, reliable transportation, good time management, flexible with their schedule, good peer relationships, and a clean and professional appearance. Previous management experience is preferred. Minimum age is 21yrs. old.
