- 1+ year of event experience gained in the entertainment industry assisting at an agency, studio or network
- Bachelor's Degree
Amazon Studios is seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to be a part of a team that strategizes, executes and manages events and experiences on behalf of Prime Video Movies.
You will support the Events team dedicated to our Movies by coordinating logistics for in-person and virtual events, panels and junkets. You will also help manage communication with internal and external partners.
You have experience working on events for studios, brands or agencies that are experts in the entertainment industry. You are organized, thorough and are eager to contribute all that is necessary to making an event successful – including tasks that range from maintaining and updating guest lists, to managing overseeing onsite check-in. You collaborate well with partners and other teams and come ready to contribute new and innovative event ideas. You have a candid and direct communication style, exceptionally high standards, a bias for action and extraordinary attention to detail.
This role will be based in Culver City, CA.
Key job responsibilities
- Support the Events Principals and Managers in all aspects of event logistics including scheduling of meetings, walk throughs and site visits
- Create and compile decks and documents tracking upcoming industry events, archival records of past internal events/mailers and current trends
- Create new vendors and purchase orders; PO Troubleshooting
- Track and compile event budgets/spending
- Liaise with other department coordinators to help with executive scheduling- such as, but not limited to event dates, travel, premiere tickets, festival coordination, etc.
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- A passion for verbal and written communication
- Excellent judgment, particularly in narrow timeframes
- A passion for pop culture and entertainment
- Willingness to work hard and roll up sleeves to get work done, even when at times it is outside the scope of the job
