Renewal by Andersen is looking for an Event Marketing Manager to lead our events team.

This position pays 75k annually with a required schedule of Thursday through Monday including weekends and holidays.

We are looking for an Events Manager to help us grow our business at various events in the greater Fresno area. You will work in the field managing our event marketers and building your own team. Our marketers generate leads and appointments for our design consultants by attending events such as home shows, showroom seminars, open houses, and other organized gatherings.

You will work closely with the Non-traditional Marketing Manager in building and motivating your team. You need to be organized, energetic, flexible, assertive, engaging, and have a competitive spirit.

Job Description

The purpose of this position is to cost effectively drive non-media lead generation and local awareness through the following marketing tactics: events and trade shows, corporate partnerships, business partnerships, referrals, community groups and more. The Event Manager is responsible to manage and execute local marketing efforts which include events such as home shows, outdoor fairs/festivals, business expos, etc.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate and train staff in a competitive, high-energy environment.
• Creates and plans local calendar of events where RbA products and services can be showcased with the sole purpose of creating exposure and generating qualified leads
• Build and maintain a team that can GENERATE LEADS.
• Daily communication with manager.
• Follow up and measure team performance, generate regular reports for management
• Work in the field at various events.
• Set up events when needed.
• Routinely check marketer’s performance in the field.
• Role playing with marketers to ensure using script.
• Set an example for work ethic, integrity, team play and professionalism.
• Coach team to reach their full potential.
• Meet goals and performance objectives.

Experience and qualifications:

• Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
• Ability to self-manage resources (time and budget) to achieve objectives.
• Ability to analyze effectiveness of events, sponsorships & local programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications preferred or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities
• Ability to proactively approach consumers in an event setting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Must be able to work weekends and some nights.
• Must have reliable transportation
• At least 1-year experience in field marketing or promotions.
• At least 1-year experience managing and coaching people.
• At least 1-year experience recruiting and hiring people.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
