Job description
The ideal candidate has a minimun of 5 years previous experience as an executive administrative assistant, and be able to perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting coorespondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers. Executive administrative experience at the headquarters level in the front office or working for high level senior leaders is required.
Responsibilities:
- Interacting with diverse staff and high level visitors in person and via phone.
- Managing multiple projects at one time.
- Grammatically proficient written and oral communication skills.
- Expert with spreadsheets, word processing and database management.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) high proficiency and also with Google Suite, email, and internet.
- Must assist the offices property custodian with annual inventory process.
- Must become proficient with travel authorization process to prepare domestic authorizations and vouchers.
- Manage and track travel budgets
- Receptionist Activities
- Scheduler Activities
- Controlled Correspondence Activities
- General Office Activities
Expectations:
Accuracy, Clarity, Consistency, File Editing, Formating, and Timeliness.
This is a 12 month contract plus 2 option periods.
Hours:
Eight-hour shifts that need to be completed between the hours of 9:00am to 5:30pm totally 80 hours per two-week period. Overtime may be required on an occasional basis.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
