Job description

We are looking for a passionate, experienced Executive Chef to lead a large focused culinary team, following our Director of Culinary's specifications and guidelines. The successful candidate will employ its culinary and managerial skills in order to drive results in all areas of the kitchen, but particularly focused on providing the ultimate dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist and lead the preparation of all food menus
• Ensure that the kitchen operates in an efficient manner at all times
• Direct and participate in the planning and execution of all food preparation
• Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and manage crisis with calm and collected manner
• Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
• Working knowledge of proper inventory management and order guide processes
• Comply with and manage sanitation regulations and food safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with staff and guests

Skills

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef within a luxury hotel or high volume, upscale restaurant setting
• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Excellent record of culinary team management
• Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
• Possess keen sense of smell and taste

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
