General Description: Growing family office based in Greenwich, CT, NYC, Montana and St. Thomas is seeking an Executive Housekeeper. The Executive Housekeeper will work with the Property Managers and will manage the interiors of all properties. Collaborate with the Property Managers to prepare the homes for visits from family and guests. Manage staff while making sure residences are prepared and ready for Principal, family, and guests. (This position requires travelling occasionally)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform executive housekeeping duties as needed, especially for the primary residence (CT). This includes house cleaning and tidying (making master beds, keeping master bathrooms clean, etc.) This may be up to 50% of the weekly schedule.
  • Primary residence is in CT but the position will include travel to all residences/yacht as needed for the hiring, training, supervision of all interior employees.
  • In collaboration with the Property Managers, scheduling of all on-staff housekeeping as well as contract cleaning service companies
  • Maintain established cleaning standards and train all housekeeping staff as needed. Train and assist housekeepers with specific care instructions for cleaning of artwork, fine furniture, and specialty items.
  • Create SOPs for all housekeeping, cleaning and organizing standards - must document with photos and detailed descriptions.
  • Create and oversee supply inventories and ordering for all residences.
  • Provide hospitality and attend to guests and family's needs when visiting. Perform in-home service when principal is in residence - serve coffee/water/drinks and create inviting settings for meals
  • Oversee events from the planning phase to execution to tear down. Includes table settings, florals, decor and securing of event staff. Work with the house chef to determine silverware, flatware and glassware needs. Other details include lighting, music, wine lists, budget and timing.
  • Coordinate with the Property Managers to perform pre-arrival and post-departure checks of the home - focus to be on the interior.
  • Receive and unpack deliveries/mail/packages.
  • Laundry and dry-cleaning management.
  • Responsible for home purchases and their relevant record keeping.
  • Other duties and projects as requested.

Skills:

  • Fluent in English, verbal and written
  • Strong service and hospitality skills
  • Comfortable communicating with vendors and staff
  • Stellar organizational skills
  • Experience in event planning, small and large
  • High level of communication (text/email/phone)
  • Computer proficiency a must

Experience:

  • Minimum three years of executive housekeeping experience
  • Experience from similar jobs in fine homes or yachts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
