Producers Rice Mill, Inc. is a stable 80-year old company corporately located in Stuttgart, AR, with a national sales office in Little Rock. This position will be based out of the Little Rock office. Producers is a leading supplier of rice products nationally to foodservice, retail, industrial and export markets.

Job Description:

As one of Arkansas' leading food manufacturers and employers, Producers Rice Mill has an upwardly mobile career-changing job opening for the right candidate. Responsible for managing and building foodservice sales nationally, this individual will work through a national network of foodservice brokers/sales reps and report to the Vice President of Marketing & Sales for Consumer Products. With a large and stable nation-wide foodservice customer base, Producers is a respected leader within the industry. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage current foodservice programs with existing customers
• Strategize and develop new business to increase market share
• Manage and oversee foodservice broker activities
• Create reporting and understand overall dynamics of foodservice sales activities
• Report results, issues and initiatives

Travel required (overnight air travel): approx. 20%

Qualifications:

• Minimum three-five years sales and management experience
• Experience in food and beverage or consumer products industry, preferred
• Experience with broker/sales rep relations and management, preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
• Ability to analyze and develop customer, market & product strategy
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
