MAHALO ALEWORKS, the award-winning new brewery and taproom in the Kulamalu shopping center upcountry is looking for a couple experienced, hard-working beertenders/bartenders to join our "brewery Ohana" as we expand hours and are getting even busier.
We have an awesome team and a beautiful new facility that won "Best New Brewery in Hawaii", featuring a beautiful brewery on display to the public, indoor and outdoor seating, a second floor with panoramic views, and more. This is a super fun bartending gig for a beer lover, plus, since we serve only beer and wine (with a state of the art draft system) there is NO fruit to cut, NO ice to deal with and NO mixers to make/clean every day!
A love and knowledge of craft beer is certainly a plus, but knowing how to work in a busy bar with a great attitude and ability to work as a team are key. Flexible scheduling is available, with lots of opportunity for shifts, and for room to grow as we expand hours. Starting as part time and working towards full time is an option as well!
We offer great base wages plus team tip-sharing (with a small on-duty staff tips are great!), employee discounts, plus full benefits are available. Super friendly, fun & energetic work environment. We have live music several days a week (adding even more soon), plus Trivia night and other events that keep it busy and fun!
