Job description

The Turner Company specializes in manufacturing pre-cast concrete structures including septic tanks, grease traps, storm cellars, concrete pipe and manholes. Each of our products can be designed to meet our customer’s specifications, giving our customers a wide range of products to meet their needs. Primary Responsibilities:

-With the assistance of a forklift

• Must have 3 years prior experience with loading heavy material on trucks
• Using rigging for loading trucks
• Brings rebar cages to production
• Uses the forklift to transfer concrete with bucket
• Assists with stripping product from forms
• Transports product around the yard

Additional Skills, Task and Job Requirements: * Forklifts- all weight and sizes (35,000 and 40,000 preferred)

• Backhoe
• Bobcat

-Assist in other production areas as needed doing different tasks

-Attends mandatory staff/safety meetings

Physical Requirements

• Work requires alert individuals with good balance, sight, hearing and physical strength.
• Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing up to 50 pounds of materiel and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested.
• Frequently walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, bending and climbing

Requirements Must be able to pass: pre-employment drug screen, background check and hearing test*

• Must wear the required PPE/ steel-toe boots while in the production areas
• Good attendance and a positive attitude
• Working during inclement weather, could be exposed to extreme cold and heat, noise and dust from construction operations

These are full-time positions and may require overtime. Benefits after 60 days include medical, dental, vision, supplemental and short term disability insurance. 40 hours of Paid Time Off accrue during your first year of employment and 80+ after that. Paid Weekly!!
