Looking for a people person who loves working with and helping pets and their owners. Looking for someone to join our team who is eager to learn and share his/her knowledge with our clients.

High quality small animal practice opening mid October 2022 located in Liberty Hill, TX with up to date equipment and doctors who love doing what they do.

Seeking full time technician to join us must be confident performing the following:

Blood draws (both from the jugular and extremity veins)
Ability to place IV catheters
Understanding of medical procedures, medications, and laboratory procedures
Ability to give subcutaneous, intravenous, and intramuscular injections
Ability to induce, intubate and monitor anesthesia
Ability to set up and read fecal and urine samples
Proficient in outside lab preparation, client education, and multi-tasking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:

• Animal restraint: 1 year (Preferred)
• Veterinary technician experience: 1 year (Required)
• Animal catheterization: 1 year (Required)
• Laboratory procedures: 1 year (Required)
