Craftsmen Contractors is seeking an Experienced Warehouse Clerk for the New Orleans, La. area. This is a full time temp to perm position for a major warehouse distributor. You will be working day shifts Mondays thru Fridays with an occasional Saturday.

A current TWIC Card is required for this position.

Starting pay is $15/hour - possibly higher depending on your experience.

You will be paid weekly.

Job duties and requirements:

• Need to communicate effectively. Must be organized with paperwork.
• Have the ability to consistently arrive on time and stay through the entire shift, including overtime when required.
• Demonstrate the integrity to open and close assigned warehouse.
• Will need to maintain work orders and maintain appointment logs
• Work alongside personnel including Laborers, Operators and Managers.
• Ability to multiple task, fill in when needed and also operate a forklift. Ensures that critical papers are properly completed and submitted into the office in a timely manner.
• Able to perform some manual labor when required.
• Required to climb up and down stairs and ladders.
• Travel between warehouses at any given time
• Knowledge of Warehouse logistics and at least 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Report to management any inconsistencies or issues at hand while working.
• Be willing to travel between warehouses and main office daily if necessary
• Current TWIC Card is required and you will need to pass a criminal background check.
