The Facilities Worker is responsible for maintenance duties and clean-up within select buildings on the Harmony Hill School campus.
This position is eligible to receive a Monthly Stipend in addition to your regular pay up to $694.00 per month through 06/30/2023. (see below)
Essential Functions:
· Minor maintenance and repairs as needed.
· Empty trash. Replace trash liners, if soiled.
· Dust office furniture, window sills, file cabinets, partition tops and horizontal surfaces.
· Spot clean glass partitions and side lights.
· Sweep and wash all floors.
· Vacuum and spot clean carpets.
· Spot clean walls, doors, glass in doors, light switches, etc. Clean stairwells and entryways.
· Clean and sanitize all toilets, seats, sinks and urinals, empty and wash all feminine napkin disposal cans.
· Spot wash all walls, doors and partitions.
· Clean all mirrors and bright work including plumbing fixtures.
· Replenish towel dispensers, soap dispensers, toilet paper and feminine napkin dispensers.
· Floors: Scrubbing, stripping, varnishing and buffing.
· Snow removal: use of snow blower machines, shoveling, sanding and salting of walkways and steps.
Note: Facility Workers are required to be on call during all snow storms.
Schedule: Day hours Mon-Friday. On-call hours on a rotating basis.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Related experience preferred
- Drivers License and own transportation required.
- Completion of a comprehensive background check required.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking required.
- Full use and dexterity of hands/arms and manipulation of tools required.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, lift, crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
