Job description
The Facility Maintenance HVACR Technician performs a variety of repairs and preventative maintenance at the Toledo Distribution Center. This position reports to the Facilities Manager.
Expectations:
- Repairs and maintains HVAC and refrigeration systems at the distribution center and the retail store.
- Works in conjunction with our ammonia contractor to maintain our ammonia system.
- Responsible for keeping accurate records for the ammonia system per regulatory requirements.
- Operates hand tools, power tools and shop requirement to perform assigned tasks.
- Perform basic facility maintenance jobs such as basic electrical, plumbing, furniture moves, basic construction.

- Excellent communication skills
- Must be well organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work individually as well as with others as a team
- Ability to read and understand directions and duties as necessitated by changing business conditions when requested to do so by supervisor.
- Math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of spreadsheets
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Ability operate or learn how to operate forklift for certification.
- Ability to move up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of refrigeration maintenance or related experience.
- Commercial and HVAC and Industrial experience preferred
Work Schedule:
- This is a first shift position with the ability to work the schedule/assigned times and required overtime for position.
