Gem State Staffing is accepting applications for several open positions with a local Cheese Processing plant for full-time, temporary-to-permanent production laborer positions in Jerome, Gooding, Twin Falls or Richfield.

Jerome Positions & Pay Rates:

• Milk Receiving Operator – $18.45/hr.
• Cheese Packager – $15.66/hr.
• Dry/Whey Packaging Operator – $17.01/hr.
• BiPro Sanitation - $17.01/hr
• Cheese Grating Operator– $17.01/hr.
• Warehouse/Forklift Operator – $18.45/hr.
• Scanner Operator - $18.45/hr.
• Forklift Operator Shipper - $18.45/hr.

Gooding Positions & Pay Rates: ***EARN UP $600 BONUS***Earn $200 after working a total of 168 then receive an additional $200 for completing another 168 hours after that. A a total of $600 bonus would be rewarded after completing a total of 504 hours at this location.

• Bioferrin Packager – Day shift; $19.00/hr., Will lift 30 lb. barrels 5-10x/day
• Cheese Packagers– Day shift $19.00/hr. or Night shift; $19.75/hr.
• Whey Powder Blend Operator– Night shift; $19.75/hr.
• Whey Cleaners – $16.00/hr.; Monday-Friday, either 8am-5pm
• Whey Packagers- Night shift, $19.75/hr.
• Box Makers- Day shift, $16.00/hr. or Night Shift, $16.75/hr.
• Irrigator- $17.00/hr.; Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• Warehouse B Sampler – Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm – $16.00/hr.: Job duties include: packaging material for sample shipments, cleaning & maintaining the room, inventory management, processing shipments, help label

Richfield Positions & Pay Rates: ***EARN UP $600 BONUS***Earn $200 after working a total of 168 then receive an additional $200 for completing another 168 hours after that. A a total of $600 bonus would be rewarded after completing a total of 504 hours at this location.

• Whey Packagers – $18.00/hr. Days or Nights $18.35/hr.

Twin Falls Positions & Pay Rates: ***EARN UP $600 BONUS***Earn $200 after working a total of 168 then receive an additional $200 for completing another 168 hours after that. A a total of $600 bonus would be rewarded after completing a total of 504 hours at this location.

• Lab Analyst- $16.00/hr. Day shift

Requirements:

• Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb.
• Adhere to company attendance standards.
• Comply with company safety policies and regulations.
• Qualified applicant should have no felonies in the last 10 years.
• Available to work overtime, weekends & potentially holidays as needed.
• Previous food processing/production or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., unassisted.
• Must be able to be on your feet an entire 12-hour work shift.

Work schedule: Days or Night shift available. Training shift do vary when specified.
