RESPONSIBILITIES

· Performs preventative maintenance service, emergency repair, and cosmetic repair on restaurant equipment and property. Perform hands-on fixes, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications.

· Assists where necessary in the installation and modification of equipment, including those resulting from special projects (I.e. timers, D/T confirmation boards, etc.)

· Monitors and oversees outside contract work in assigned stores, ensures proper coordination and communication between all involved parties.

· Performs regular inspections of all assigned restaurants and reports the condition and maintenance status of equipment and property.

· Performs duties as required for store openings, Restaurant Support Center, special events, fairs, etc.; assists in transfer, sales and/or disposal of equipment.

· Above all else provides 1st and 2nd tier technical support for our restaurant locations.

· Other responsibilities as assigned.

· Excellent verbal communication skills.

· Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned or required.

· Excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer-service focus and high level of initiative; proactive.

· Ability to define goals, meet urgent deadlines, organize and prioritize projects exceeding expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge

· Working knowledge of networking and operating systems.

· Ability to maintain/repair various types of computer equipment, Networking and audio/visual equipment, cabling, and use of various testing equipment.

· POS experience, low-voltage cabling, knowledge of basic scripting including PowerShell, VB Script, Linux and DOS batch files a plus.

Experience

· 1 or more years’ experience in directly related general maintenance/ repair work on restaurant equipment

· Networking: 1 years (Preferred)

· Low-Voltage Cabling: 1 year (Preferred)

Other

· Irregular hours or periodic overtime as necessary.

· Frequent exposure to extreme weather situations.

· May require on-call shifts.

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs and/or ladders, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.

· Requires a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record pursuant to company policy
