Position Summary
The Final Operations Group Leader ensures all product lines and components are properly tested, packaged, and accounted for in all stages of final operations.
Job Duties
- Prepares paperwork to satisfy packaging requirements.
- Sets up and maintains equipment related to final operations production.
- Manages and properly accounts for all materials and parts.
- Troubleshoots and informs supervisor of issues arising during weapons cleaning inspection and packaging.
- Assists on all special projects related to weapons cleaning, inspections, and packaging.
- Coordinates work instructions for Final Operations Operators at the direction of the supervisor.
- Ensures all weapons and components are cleaned, inspected, and packaged in accordance with the appropriate Operation Control Sheet (OCS).
- Reviews contracts for packaging and shipping specifications. Determines packaging requirements. Programs and coordinates requirements with product line planners.
- Ensures all weapons and components are packaged in accordance with appropriate OCS and Military Specifications (MILSPEC).
- Trains employees as assigned by supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or GED is required.
Experience Requirements
Three years of experience in cleaning, packaging, and quality inspection is required.
Skills and Competencies

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
- Knowledge of basic measuring and testing equipment.
Tools
Weapon fixtures and stands, data recording devices, magazine loaders, small hardware tools, measuring equipment.
Working Conditions
May be exposed to loud noises, temperature extremes, and dangerous chemicals while on the plant floor. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
