Description

The candidate shall support a broad range of program support activities including, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide a variety of technical engineering expertise and assistance involving the implementation, integration, and transition of NAS modernization systems, components, and equipment. Support will include engineering design, design review, scheduling and installation oversight for various programs and projects within the United States.
  • Identify areas of technical risk when translating operational requirements into system-level requirements. Develop potential methods of dealing with such technical risk through risk mitigation plans. Perform technical risk assessments of proposed changes in baseline requirements, and proposed changes to existing systems.
  • Execute project management to establish project baselines and maintain configured data reporting process to produce accurate project management metrics such as Cost Variance, Schedule Variance, Cost Performance Index, Schedule Performance Index, and other project metrics; Responsible for operating and maintaining Earned Value Management processes to manage division projects including project commencement, scope, resources, cost and risk; Classifies and summarizes data for preparation and submission of earned value management reporting.
  • Provide the necessary support to ensure business continuity, including using such systems and applications as DELPHI, Prism, Labor Distribution Reporting (LDR), Cru-X, Federal Personnel Payroll System (FPPS), and the Consolidated Automated System for Time and Labor Entry (CASTLE). Provide assistance with training, updates, and procedures to meet the specific needs of the organization.
  • Provides operational expertise in the operation and maintenance of National Airspace System (NAS) facilities, systems, subsystems, and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Ability to work well on a team, with other team members.
  • Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task.
  • Detailed-oriented mindset and proficiency in researching and analyzing highly technical information and systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as identify and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of system investments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Direct technical and operational ATC experience preferred

Education and experience requirements:

  • High School diploma and 5+ years’ experience.
  • US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Target salary range: $50,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
