Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst we are looking for a technology savvy accounting professional to implement continuous improvement opportunities that support our business strategy. The analyst must have accounting/analytical skills along with the ability to modernize processes through automation.

Position Responsibilities

  • You will design reporting, automation and metrics to modernize business processes within the Corporate Controllers Group
  • Identify problems and opportunities, recommending solutions
  • Present findings that drive understanding, alignment, and informed decision making
  • Participate in problem resolution that improves business processes
  • Summarize and communicate recommendations to leadership
  • Interpret data with various levels of problem solving and demonstrate ability to tell a story of the results
  • Help evaluate effectiveness of processes, procedures, and control environment to develop improvements
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently, in a cross functional team and with various levels
  • Communicate with remote team members in a 3rd party outsourcing relationship
  • Communicate information affecting both internal and external customers
  • Prioritize multiple activities simultaneously
  • Provide support for internal and external financial statements in compliance with GAAP or other regulatory requirements
  • Participate in period-end close activities to ensure completion of assigned tasks and account reconciliations, including identification and resolution of unusual items and issues
  • Participate, and sometimes lead special projects involving general accounting, such as mergers/acquisitions, policy updates, creation of new processes, partner requests and system conversions
  • Alert management of situations that may materially affect our overall financial condition
  • Exercise judgment in financial, operations, or transactional analysis to identify and help resolve issues

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 3+ years of professional experience in public accounting, corporate accounting.
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Experience with Access DB, Excel/Access macros, SQL and VBA a plus
  • Experience with Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Power BI a plus
