We are searching for
compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team. We are seeking a
Full-Time Financial Counselor located in our

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of healthcare billing or financial counselor experience. Must have the ability to multi-task and have a high degree of confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail. You are required to be compassionate, yet firm in maintaining compliance with the guidelines set forth by the practice. Ability to use superior interpersonal skills to diffuse stressful conversations.
- Verifies patient benefits and prepares surgery estimates.
- Identifies delinquent accounts and contacts patients regarding payment arrangements prior to their scheduled appointment. Maintains communication with front desk for collection efforts.
- Communicates over the phone with patients to discuss payment policy, payment plans and accepts payments. Evaluates patient’s financial status and establishes a budget payment plan within our policies as necessary.
- Prepares patient correspondence in accordance with our policies.
- Utilizes various internal reports to monitor patient account activity, takes appropriate action based on these reports, and maintains communication with the affected internal and external parties.
- Processes, posts, and balances patient payments daily.

Balances office’s daily payments, charges, and adjustments.
- Responds to inquiries from attorneys and patients.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves patient billing complaints/issues.
- Complies with all our processes and HIPAA regulations.
- Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals.
- Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork.
Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm.
