POSITION TITLE: Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
DEPARTMENT: Finance
STATUS: Exempt
REPORTS TO: VP Controller
LOCATION: Secaucus, NJ (will require some travel to NYC office)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will work closely with the VP Controller, Finance, to support corporate financial objectives. Primary responsibilities include managing the monthly financial closings, financial reporting, the annual budget process, and general accounting functions. This individual is also responsible for proactively identifying business challenges and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting:
- Manage the monthly closing of multiple entities and divisions
- Generate monthly reporting including Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Departmental Expenses
- Responsible for providing Financial Projections for Wholesale, Retail, and E-Commerce
- Provide miscellaneous reporting and analysis as required
- Manage the Annual Budget Process for Wholesale, Retail and E-Commerce
- Responsible for Balance Sheet review and analysis
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis
- Retail and Wholesale apparel industry experience is a plus
- BBA with Major in Finance or Accounting
Required Job Skills:
- Must have excellent communication and organization skills
- The ability to develop productive relationships with department heads
- Must have exceptional excel spreadsheet skills
- Must have strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
