Finishing and Assembly Associate
Job description
Carolina Precision Technologies is a contract manufacturer of machined medical devices using state-of-the-art vertical mills, 5-axis machining centers, and CNC Swiss lathes. We are currently seeking a full-time employee in finishing and assembly at our facility in Warminster, PA (Philadelphia area). The ideal candidate will have experience in a production environment with good communication and an ability to learn quickly.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Produce components by mechanically assembling small, precision machine parts using a variety of hand tools, power tools, drills and presses.
- Read and follow blueprints and written work instructions.
- Periodically check products per company policy to ensure quality and alerts supervisor to any problems.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Operate laser marking equipment.
- Complete documentation as required
- Media blast and tumble parts to necessary finish
- Manage workflow to meet production standards
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred
- 3+ years in manufacturing facility
- A strong mechanical aptitude
- Good attention to detail
- Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small.
