Be part of our Accounting and Finance team at Everi! This role assists with maintaining fixed assets in accounting and fixed asset software systems across subsidiaries. This position on our fixed assets team gives you the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and experience within public accounting.- You have General Ledger experience, awesome! What Will You Be Doing?
Exercise discretion and independent judgment maintaining fixed assets across multiple subsidiaries in accounting and fixed asset software systems.
Responsible for reconciling fixed asset general ledger account balances to accounting and fixed asset software sub-ledgers.
Exercise discretion and independent judgment preparing and reporting monthly depreciation journal entries and analytics.
Responsible for creating net book value reports and monthly roll forward schedules.
Provide fixed asset information and schedules to other departments and auditors.
May perform inventory and cost accounting functions, as requested.
Reconcile and analyze additional assigned general ledger accounts monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Assist with internal and external audit requests.
Provide ad-hoc analysis and information to management, as requested.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Needed for the Job:
Experience in an accounting role and fixed asset experience preferred. Those with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting looking for their first role in the field are encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy; ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts making decisions with available information.
Knowledge of accounting terminology and concepts.
Understanding of GAAP applications and alternatives is preferred.
Knowledge of FASB and financial accounting standards is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly read and design complex spreadsheets, performing v-lookups and pivot tables preferred.
Navision and Sage experience preferred.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $58K - $76K annually.
