We have an exciting opportunity open for a Fleet Services Coordinator based in Maumelle, AR.
Position Description
This is a skilled technical position. The incumbent performs routine tasks, serving as the main customer service contact for the Department of Fleet Services.
Essential Functions:
- Operates Fleet Services Customer Service Counter at Maumelle – vehicle handover, fuel cards, pre-staging, fueling,
- Fleet floor activities – decals, license plates, jump starts, pick-ups (vehicles and parts), deliveries,
- National service support guidance – (directing people to right garages etc for repairs, assists with scheduling of servicing, decision making on repair needs.
- Assists the Senior Manager of Fleet in preparing maintenance work schedules in SAP?
- Records and resolves customer problems and complaints and/or notifies Senior Manager of Fleet.
- Opens work orders in SAP using the computerized fleet management system and routes to appropriate service section.
- Advises customer of vehicle problems and notifies customers when vehicles are ready for pick up.
- Maintains vehicle service files.
- Prepares various reports as needed.
Education, Experience and Training
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience. Any combination of education, training, and/or experience sufficient to demonstrate the ability to perform the functions of the position is acceptable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
This position requires the following;
- Thorough knowledge of the automotive service and repair trade.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the operations and systems characteristics of automobiles and light trucks.
- Ability to plan and organize repairs or upfit activities associated with capital vehicle build.
- Good organizational and communications skills.
- Basic computer skills and be able to use a computer keyboard and mouse.
