JIT Staffing is looking for an experienced and passionate Gluing Operator/Adjuster in the Folding/Gluing Department. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of glue-line assembly. The person will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, monitoring and operating a folding machine to fold and glue printed materials, according to the specifications. The Adjuster will focus on continuously checking for accuracy and quality, monitor the machine and correct problems as they occur. The person will control the inventory, verify the schedule and guarantee post production equipment cleaning.

Responsibilities
Set up: feeder, glue system, folder plates, pack station and inspection systems.
Adjust, and operate folding machine verifying number of folds, paper size, and thickness.
Set up and operate automated computer controlled integrated inspection system
Ensure total quality of the job while in operation
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and demonstrate team work spirit
Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Qualifications
1 to 3 years related Printing/packaging industry experience is desirable.
Mechanical know-how
Trouble shooting mind set
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Attention to detail and excellent close vision
High school education
People oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
