Food Safety/Quality Assurance Technician

FS/QA Technician will be responsible for day to day FS/QA data entry for fresh cut processing/re-pack operations. This is an entry level position at our West Deptford, NJ location with potential to progress within the Lipman Family of companies. As America's largest field tomato grower, we take great pride in our people and our processes that protect our customers and brand. The ideal candidate must have basic computer skills and have desire to learn new subject matter related to food safety. He/she will have the ability to collaborate with multiple stake holders and thrive in a fast pace production environment.

Some Key Responsibilities:

• Be the gatekeeper for all basic Food Safety/Quality daily data entry in our compliance platform.
• Complete and monitor (KPIs) key process control measures.
• Ensure company and customer quality standards are being met.
• Work under the supervision of the Food Safety/Quality Assurance Manager conducting quality tests, performing inspection checks, calibrating equipment, and communicating test results.
• Inspecting raw materials and finished good products according to quality and safety standards.
• Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly. Reporting quality issues to the supervisor.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Good verbal and written communications skills, hardworking, dependable, safety conscious and preferably bilingual English/Spanish
• 1-2- years’ experience such as internships or work study in any field
• Minimum High School Diploma

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
