Our Nutrition Services team is lively, team-oriented and committed to providing top-notch service to our patients, visitors and staff; and we are looking for a team member who is excited to share their love of food and nutrition with us! Tri-County Health Care currently has a
Food Service Worker/Cook position open at the Wadena campus.
This position is 64 hours per biweekly pay period including occasional weekends and rotating holidays, with varying shifts between the hours of 5:00am-7:00pm. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Prepares, serves and stores food in appropriate amounts and under safe and sanitary conditions, to ensure consistent, safe and quality foodservice
- Correctly operates and cleans equipment to ensure safety of equipment and operator and follows infection control guidelines
- Records and communicates information to ensure high quality patient care and accurate record keeping and billing
- Has knowledge of special diets, diet restrictions and allergies
Competencies required include:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing excellent patient care and overall experience
Education and experience required/preferred:
- ServSafe certification preferred, but will train the right candidate on-the-job
