Mitchell Selig Ford of Windsor, CT is in search of a Master Certified Ford Technician to join our team.

We have just invested over $5,000,000 in the business, renovated facility, new lifts, equipment and special tools and We Have the Work in the shop to add another experienced, trained Ford technician.

In addition to an hourly rate, we also offer the important support to help the right individual maximize their hours produced and allow for a higher quality of life. This is a real opportunity for a six figure income:

  • Tired of losing time on nightmare jobs, we have a Specialist on staff to turn difficult diagnoses over to, so you can get back onto the jobs that make time
  • 30+ year Ford experienced Warranty Manager to make sure you and the store are paid the time you are due
  • We have increased our Parts inventory 80% in the past year and have new processes in place to reduce the frequency of Parts delaying vehicle completion.


We are far from perfect; however, we have an excellent team working every day to improve and we are just a couple individuals away from the perfect team.

Although this listing is for a highly experienced Ford Technician, we also have similar opportunities available for less experienced, Ford trained technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
  • Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
  • Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications


Qualifications

  • Ford Technician experience required
  • ASE Certification required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Team player
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Math, reading, and computer skills
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
