Norm Reeves Ford is looking for a Warranty Admin!

As a Warranty Administrator, you’re one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves. You prepare, record and submit warranty claims to the factory and/or distributor and reconcile them accordingly. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in organization and has the ability to follow manufacturer processes .

What You’ll Do:

• Process warranty claims on a timely basis for each franchise or distributor
• Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation
• Confirm accuracy of vehicle warranty claims and submitted claims to expedite reimbursement
• Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor
• Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule
• Post credits on computer
• Resubmit all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off
• Follow up on payment of outstanding claims
• Track warranty parts by tagging with repair order number, date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed of
• Arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor or to be scrapped
• File and maintain all service records as required by the warrantor
• Keep informed of all factory recalls and bulletins
• Assist with telephone duties as needed
• Assist with any clerical needs as directed by the service manager or the business manager
• Report any abuse or possible fraudulent manipulation of warranty claims or repairs to department management
• Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• An empathetic, detail oriented, and thoughtful attitude
• Exceptional communication skills
• Technology literacy, especially with Microsoft Excel and related programs
• Professional personal appearance and excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Excel
• Attention to details and strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
