Seasons is a comprehensive Behavioral Health Center offering a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health services to communities in Northwest Iowa. We are excited to expand our specialized services for foster and adoptive families through our Family Support Center.

We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time Foster and Adoptive Care Coordinator based out of Autumn’s Center in Spencer, Iowa.

The Foster and Adoptive Care Coordinator will:

• Create a caring, safe, and healing environment for individuals and families with foster and/or adoptive youth
• Provide case coordination to families to help them secure resources such as housing, transportation, food, and other practical items
• Assist client in accessing respite and other specialty services
• Facilitate support groups for foster and adoptive families
• Provide support through a variety of methods, including but not limited to face-to-face visits, telephone calls, and emails
• Collaborate with clinical and program staff to ensure services are trauma-informed and culturally responsive
• Facilitate community education/outreach to develop positive relationships with community organizations and connect families with resources
• Complete home studies when applicable
• Document client data in an electronic health record (EHR) system
• Participate in agency team meetings and grant meetings as needed
• Assist with data collection and tracking of project activities for the grant

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field is required
• 1-3 years of experience working with children and families required
• 1-3 years of experience with foster and/or adoptive families preferred
• Some travel is required for this position, so a valid driver’s license is required
