About the position:
This is a unique position that will offer the ideal candidate potential to grow with a growing company. You are a hospitality professional who understands and enjoys delivering exceptional service to guests and LOVES to help transform a guest’s stay into a memorable experience. Prior experience with property management systems is a plus, not a requirement. The available schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The ideal candidate will provide caring and heartfelt service to both internal and external guests. S/he often provides the first point-of-contact for guests and is responsible for creating an excellent, memorable first impression. S/he is fully committed to ensuring that all procedures are performed to department and property standards and will serve as an ambassador for the property.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively interact, coordinate and communicate with all guests and vendors in a warm and professional fashion to ensure a smooth arrival-through-departure experience;
- Demonstrate confident knowledge of: All hotel features/services, hours of operation, room types, room rates, special packages and promotions, daily house count and expected arrivals/departures, room availability status, basic billing procedures, scheduled in-house group activities and to anticipate and respond to guest inquiries promptly and accurately through face-to-face, telephone, email and messaging methods of communication;
- Assist with light food preparation and light housekeeping assistance (daily)
- Ensure proper completion of required checklist items at the end of each shift;
- Successfully execute departmental and hotel policies (to include but not limited to relocation procedures, key control procedures, accurate billing, safety, lost & found policies, etc.);
- Possess a calm, organized approach when interacting in stressful situations;
- Approach internal and external guest opportunities with a sense of heartfelt care and urgency; provide prompt follow-up to ensure 100% guest satisfaction;
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and follow proper protocol to secure and protect pertinent hotel data;
- Foster and maintain strong, positive relationships with team members across all departments through communication and regular face-to-face interaction;

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or two to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Minimum of one year of experience in a high-demand, guest-driven setting preferred;
- Previous hospitality experience with a discerning clientele preferred;
- Previous experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, and property management systems, especially WebRezPro, highly desirable;
- Must be able to understand, speak, read and write in the basic English language;
- Ability to effectively communicate and provide directions in a clear, concise, friendly and professional manner in both verbal and written form;
- Demonstrate ability to compute basic arithmetic;
- Must be available to work varied shifts and have a flexible schedule.
