Tallgrass Creek is a beautiful 65-acre continuing care retirement community located in Overland Park, just minutes from Kansas City and the Kansas and Missouri border. We’re part of a growing network of communities managed and developed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states—and growing.

We are hiring a Concierge to coordinate guest hospitality services for residents within our Continuing Care neighborhood, which consists of skilled nursing, assisted living, long-term rehab, and memory care. You will create and maintain a strong cross-functional staff relationship by encouraging communication, dedication to customer service, and a commitment to quality improvement. This position is key in establishing high-performance work teams, autonomous multi-skilled teams with total process ownership.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour; based on experience.

Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (4PM-8PM)

How you will make an impact:

• Lead both the Concierge and No Place Like Home Programs program
• Coordinate requested guest hospitality services for guests within Continuing Care using the Concierge handbook and interpersonal skills.
• Assess customer needs and limitations by making decisions on the type and quality of information to provide, which may include but is not limited to; assist guests with faxes, email, computer needs, flower orders, library, and movie requests.
• Manage difficult or emotional customer situations and identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
• Report quarterly on survey results and service audits to PIRMS committee and monthly to Continuing Care Administration.

What you will need:

• BS degree is preferred in the Health Services field
• Experience with seniors, health care, and service delivery
• Satisfactory driving record required
