Shift Responsibilities:

• Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations in the computer system, verifying guest identity, requesting payment, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys in accordance with property policies and procedures.
• Respond to and resolve guest requests, including wake-up calls. Run daily reports (arrivals/departures), identify special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
• Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
• Complete end-of-day activities, including posting charges to accounts, completing cashier and closing reports, running night audit backup, and changing dates.
• Print check-out instructions and place them under guest room doors the night before checkout.
  

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
• Friendly and personable attitude is a must
• Intermediate computer skills, basic math skills, key card locking system skills needed
• Flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays, and days
