The Role
The Front Desk Manager for Ten Over Ten is responsible for architecting and caretaking daily operations ensuring
customers and team experiences run as smoothly and as efficiently as possible. Working in
tandem with Customers, Nail Technicians, and Vendors to ensure a smooth errorless transaction process. The Front Desk
Manager reports to Operations Manager ensuring optimal performance by team members while creating an effortless,
elevated, and seamless experience for all clients.
Key Responsibilities:

- Acting as the first point of contact for customers who visit our salon or contact us to learn about our beauty services.
- Greeting customers upon their arrival.
- Checking customers out
- Processing payments using our POC system (Booker)
- Answering clients’ questions about services via phone, email or in person and processing transactions.
- Being organized and able to manage clients with grace, even during peak demand.
- Helping the owners with special projects: inventory, ordering, developing new services,
- etc.
- Excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitude
Requirements and skills
- The ability to work weekends, early mornings, evenings and some holidays.
- Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist, Front Desk Representative or similar
- Hands-on experience with office equipment, like printers and POS systems (Booker experience is a plus)
- Familiarity with processing transactions
- Solid organization and record-keeping skills
- An ability to remain calm under stressful circumstances.
- Knowledge of cosmetology trends
- Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards
- Experience in customer service
- High school diploma
