Job description
We are looking for a receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis, and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a receptionist you will be the first point of contact for our company. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including (but not limited to) greeting customers as they enter, redirecting phone calls, and providing outstanding customer service. To be successful in this position you should have a pleasant personality and be able to multitask all while streamlining office operations. Ultimately, a receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
· Answer, screen and forward incoming calls
· Greet guests as soon as they arrive
· Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
· Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
· Direct visitors to the appropriate person and/or office
· Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
· Provide clerical support to other departments when needed
· Perform other duties such as filing, photocopying, emailing, or faxing
· Maintaining an accurate cash drawer and payment processing
· Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
· Keep accurate account records
Requirements / Qualifications:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Previous experience as a receptionist or front office representative or similar customer service role
· Professional attitude and appearance
· Excellent organizational skills
· Experience with office equipment (multi line phones, printers, fax machines, etc.)
· Ability to be proactive and resourceful
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· Multi-tasking and time management skills
· High School Diploma
· Valid Driver’s License
