TITLE: FRONT END DEVELOPER - REACT
Contract Role
Location: Remote
Compensation Range : $50 - $65/h depending on experience
Seeking an experienced Front End Developer with very strong ReactJS skills to become part of an innovative and evolving development team responsible for adding, tweaking and enhancing features for a consumer-facing website. The Front End Developer will collaborate closely with a testing and design team and other software engineers to design, test, code, and deliver new features within an Agile Scrum environment. Excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement solutions using HTML, CSS, and Javascript as your tools and ASP.NET (MVC) as your environment.
Hands-on React JS and Redux experience is required.
Conceive and build responsive and adaptive solutions for website applications.
Work on an Agile team to develop, test, deploy, and maintain, while collaborating with team members on product backlog grooming, sprint planning, execution, review, and retrospective.
Participate in technical design meetings with other developers and assist in definition of front end web architecture.
Work with the testing and product teams and stakeholders to understand and communicate progress.
Update, maintain and adhere to pattern-libraries, style guides, and site documentation.
Be an active contributor to front-end development best practices.

Skills:
5+ years experience as a Front End/UI Developer building sites using HTML/CSS/Javascript
2+ years of recent ReactJS development experience in a professional setting is required.
1+ years Redux experience
eCommerce experience is desired but not required
Knowledge of NPM (Node Packaging Manager) is a plus
Knowledge or experience with Storybook is a plus
Excellent communication skills as you will be working with people in product management, design, user experience, and QA.
Excellent knowledge of CSS and Javascript coding best practices.
Experience building responsive, cross-browser, highly-performant, and accessible applications.
Should have good experience with jQuery
Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (LESS or SASS).
Basic knowledge of SQL language.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or Visual Communication desired but not required.
Good reading, written and verbal language skills.
