Front Office Clerk/Receptionist

Kimball Communications, Inc. is a leading communications provider for Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina. Our customers include Public Safety, Public Utilities, Private Sector, Federal, State and Local Government organizations. Applicants needs to have a friendly and professional mindset. This position is for an Office Administrative Assistant handling support functions and clerical duties of Front Office. Job duties include:
- Greet incoming clients and direct them to appropriate associate.
- Handle incoming phone calls and ensure message delivery.
- Sort incoming and outgoing mail and shipping of packages.
- Create Invoices, Purchase Orders, Estimates through QuickBooks software.
- Manage product repair and warranty processes.
- Document service/work requests and relay to appropriate associates for scheduling.
- Maintain security and confidentiality of customer information.
- Applicant needs a High School diploma, computer keyboarding skills, effective and professional communication skills, friendly and outgoing personality, multi-tasking skills, knowledge of Word, Excel, Quickbooks software and the ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently.
- Required 40 hour work week. Mon-Thurs 9am-5:30pm; Friday 9am-5pm.
- Must successfully complete security background and drug screening before and during employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
