We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a world-class team building our premier voice, natural language, and AI-power technologies.
Knowledge, skills and qualifications –
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum years of work experience: 2+ years
REQUIRED SKILLS:
-
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
-
Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
-
Experience with data structure libraries
-
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
-
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
-
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
-
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

Knowledge of Cloud Native tool and architecture (e.g. CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes…)

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

A knack for benchmarking and optimization

Familiarity with tools such as Git & Jira
PREFERRED SKILLS:

Responsible for developing new user-facing features using React.js
-
Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
-
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
-
Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
-
Experience with database schemas and query languages.

Understanding of security requirements

Experience with Windows and Linux

Previous experience of working in a SCRUM environment

Experience with Monitoring tools

Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps
