Chewy is seeking a bright and curious Data Analyst to leverage a wide set of technical and analytical skills to help us advance our data analytics and reporting initiatives for the entire fulfillment network. You will have the opportunity to drive the foundational operations metrics and reporting used by our leadership teams at all levels. In this role, you will be supporting different business groups in fulfillment operations and supply chain by building high quality and impactful data products. Duties of this position include but are not limited to setting up data pipelines, analyzing large data sets, investigating data anomalies, forecasting trends, developing intuitive data visualizations, extracting actionable insights, communicating results with stakeholders, and automating manual data processes.

What You'll Do:

The successful candidate will have solid knowledge on working with SQL and BI tools. The candidate should be able to quickly debug issues in SQL queries. Day-to-day responsibilities will focus around performing deep-dive investigations into data questions and weaving those findings into an effective story to drive changes within the fulfillment network. This role will be primarily responsible for developing operational metrics and building solid data products using BI tools and other software. You will also be responsible for taking analytic findings and working with stakeholders to implement the methods used in the analysis to drive analytic insight around the findings. This role is high visibility and high impact. Good communication and collaboration are essential.

• A bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, statistics, computer science, business with analytics focus, or related field
• At least 1 year of related full-time experience in an analyst role working on a business team, preferably in e-commerce or retail industry

• Intermediate SQL skills, demonstrated experience with one or more BI Tools preferably Tableau, and Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet (pivot tables, lookup, advanced formulas etc.) are a must-have
• Experience processing, filtering, and presenting large volume of data and applying performance tuning techniques
• Collaborate with Data and Datawarehouse teams to maximize existing systems and develop BI roadmap
• Solid knowledge on using data visualization tools (preferably Tableau) working with multiple data sources and several dashboards
• Comfortable communicating with multiple stakeholders during the development of dashboards
• Demonstrable success in interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques and presenting findings to business partners across the organization
• A foundational understanding of statistical techniques such as correlation, regression, forecasting, time series analysis, etc.
• Excellent technical skills and a strong passion for data analysis and investigation
• A self-starter mentality and ability to operate within a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
• Any prior programming experience with R or Python is a plus
