Functional Analyst

Job Summary:

Applicant will perform requirements analysis, documenting processes, and developing and performing user acceptance testing of software and system components supporting Air Force enterprise-level mission support systems.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements
• Develop system requirements and clearly communicate requirements to stakeholders
• Modify user manuals and other system documentation
• Create software test plans, procedures, and scenarios and ensure each is mapped to the system requirements
• Execute and revise software test plans, procedures, and scenarios as needed
• Aid operational users to include providing expertise in answering Tier 3 helpdesk calls
• Champions a collaborative, team-based environment, sharing standard methodologies, and building positive relationships

Required Abilities/Experience:

• Functional knowledge of financial software requirements and sustainment of financial software systems
• Experience developing and maintaining information systems and software databases or other work in the client/server field, or a related field
• Knowledge of Automated Software Testing Tools
• Experience creating, tracking, reviewing, and disseminating software quality reports
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with other technicians
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Abilities/Experience:

• Demonstrated ability to implement Agile methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience executing within a customer-centric environment

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; 5 years experience/3 years data and quality analysis

Job Stipulations:

Must possess a current CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent IAT Level II certification

Must be able to work onsite as needed at government or contractor facility locations

Must be compliant with DOD vaccination policies

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
